Who are we kidding elephants are NOT sexy. That are adorable and have been know to play the flute or paint pretty pictures, but they are not sexy. This was a Valentine’s Day card to the boy, I thought I’d make it this year. It is pretty much ripped off from one of my pinterest find called ‘Thirsty Elephant’ by Terry Fan

I am more than a tad obsessed with Pinterest at the moment, it spins out soo many cool ideas; like baked marble necklaces, cupcake Ferris wheels, chalk pens and plates with Lionel Richie’s face on it. Click here to see more. Novelty aside I have found the coolest gift ideas (although admittedly a lot of them are still novelty). Meet cat skirt:
Obviously I fell it love with it at first glance and wanted one. However my all my fingers are like big toes when it comes to sewing, so for Christmas the boy’s mum made it for me! So excited to wear it out and look like a big cat loser. I am starting to resemble the e-harmony video of that girl crying at the thought of every cat in the world, wearing little bow ties, in a basket, rolling around…wait, wait, it’s got me too now. Without further blabber or crying from me this is my new favouritest skirt in the entire world. Hope you like it!

Stu was designed by Dimitar Tassev as a theatre poster for young performers around 1971/2. Adda boy Stu, just look at him go!
The poster is entitled ‘Polychrome bird, blue ‘rain.’’ …I didn’t know what that word meant so I googled it, don’t judge me 🙂
I like the ruler straight lines for rain, they look sharp. Although whenever it rains on me the rain come from a 2’o’clock angle straight into my face. I guess Stu has all the luck!

Just thought I’d add a touch of colour to this otherwise grey day. Don’t worry colours like these bold reds and brilliant blues still existed – they are just waiting for the right moment to appear.
